Take your car through Swedish countryside towns, winding tight roads and wide snow-banked sections. Currently there is only one stage, and is actually the longest stage in Shakedown Rally yet, taking a little over 4 minutes to complete.

Blended surfaces

This update brings a big feature which is varying surface physics. Sweden introduces 4 new surfaces: snow, ice, slushy gravel and deep snow all found on the roads. What you see as changing textures is now simulated (instead of being just visual like previously in Finland). Gravel will be slightly grippier but also less slidey. Deep snow is loose and provides some resistance plowing through it, while ice has barely any grip, and is a unique challenge as you need to prepare to point the car in the right direction before running through it.

Not only that, but modders can now define their own surface parameters for splat materials, you can create totally custom and even unrealistic surfaces, and put it on your own road.

Soft collisions

Another feature this update brings are soft collisions, experienced when colliding with snow banks in Sweden. Unlike walls in Monty, snow banks in Sweden will gently tug you if hit lightly, but be careful, because it is also easy to get stuck in them at more powerful impacts, and are best avoided, just like in real life!
